Week 10

Week 10 comes to an end as the Vikings faced off against the Green Bay Packers again on Monday night football.  And it was ugly right off the bat, the Vikings got the ball first and started off the game with a less than impressive drive going three and out right away and were forced to punt, which Packers rookie Randall Cobb ran back 80 yards for a touchdown. And things didnt get much better from there the first quarter continued with the Vikings having to punt every time they got the ball.  The Packers scored again with a 24 yard pass to Greg Jennings making the score 14-0. The Vikings missed their first chance at scoring near the end of the first quarter when Ryan Longwell missed a 47 yard field goal and the 1st quarter ended 14-0.  The second quarter went back and forth with only the only points coming from a Packers field goal and the score at halftime was 17-0.  The Packers got the ball right away in the second half and drove 70 yards down the field ending the drive with a touchdown pass to Jordy Nelson.  The Vikings finally got things going with 8 minutes left in the third quarter with a 3 yard touchdown run by Adrian Peterson.  The Packers didn’t waste any time answering that touchdown and went down the field right away and scored a touchdown with a 9 yard pass to John Kuhn.  The score at the end of the third quarter was 31-7. The fourth quarter went about as badly as the first three with the Packers scoring two more touchdowns and the Vikings scoring 0.  The final score of the game was 45-7. Jared Allen had a great game with 7 tackles and 2 sacks. And I won’t be watching the game on TV next week because I will actually be in the Metrodome watching the Vikings take on the Oakland Raiders

Go Vikings!

  1. I've seen so many people write about the Vikings and talk as if things weren't so bad. But with this one, I like how you come out and say within the first few sentences that it was "ugly right off the bat." You say it like it is! Nice job!

  2. HAHA! I like your description of the game and the sad side of the Viking fans. You could break it up more instead of a big block
